Inspired by Victorian plaster ceiling ornaments, Dutch designer Marcel Wanders’ pendant lamp playfully suspends an illuminated “garden” overhead. A gracefully hanging hemisphere of aluminum alloy houses a surprise: a floral lining crafted from white-painted cast plaster with a blown opal glass and photo-etched steel diffuser. It makes a distinctive statement suspended over a dining or library table. Installation required.
