Easy to install
A nice little ACCENT light. Uses standard based light bulb. It gives off a nice glow with a sprial bulb. You wouldn't use this to light up a whole room, but rather to give soft light to a corner table, which will often make a room feel bigger by eliminating a dark spot. Despite a paper/plasitc shade, spiral energy bulbs do not get hot enough to be a problem, but you can always opt for an LED bulb for a couple bucks more and probably never have to worry about replacing it even if you left it on 24/7. It looks right at home in an office or in a outdoor gazebo. Highly recommend this lamp.

So adorable!!
It did not cost very much and looks amazing. It was very easy to install and works very well. At night, I don't want to turn on the main ceiling lights so this light is perfect since it isn’t super bright. Makes everything look more elegant and classy. Great price though.

Nice and beautiful
Love the lamp. It's perfect over my desk in a somewhat dark corner of my office and brightens the area up considerably. It's a good sized shade. Adds character to the room.

Better than the picture!
I love this beautiful lamp. The two I purchased hang on either side of the bed in a soft beige room. The 18" size gives them substance in appearance while being very lightweight. We had to purchase 2 mounting kits to wire it to the ceiling. Still, I am happy with these lamps because they are very beautiful and cheerful.
