This 20 inch wide hanging pendant lamp is probably our most popular model for residential and commercial applications. This unique light fixture from Akari Lanterns is a swag plug-in type hanging lamp that is fully assembled with a cool-white LED bulb and ready to install. This lamp can also be hard-wired into an electrical box on the ceiling but you must also purchase the Ceiling Mounting Kit on the previous page. Many say our pendant lamps resemble Chinese paper lanterns but have a more unique bright white glow and are more pleasing to the eye. Hang the lamp from the ceiling with heavy duty staples and then plug the cord into any outlet. The on/off switch is on the cord near the plug.

I really like this lamp. Good size, but not too big. Looks very sweet, the light was equal size and quality. Color was slightly different from what I expected that might be due to the bulb. However, I'm really happy with the light. Sometimes, I use it at my desk at work to add a little mood lighting. I can recommend it. Thanks

looks good and lights up very cozy
This is actually the second Akari lamp that I buy. Love the glow through the shade, it gives elegant light without being harsh. I can happily recommend this light. This is also a great touch over a reading corner. Excellent accent lighting!

You have to buy the ceiling mounting kit seperately
We have no way to install a ceiling mount light fixture and this worked out perfect in the living room. We just plugged it into the outlet and hung it from the ceiling with the supplied staples. And at a great price.
